Tri-axial Load Cells from Sensy S.A.

Tri-axial Load Cells from Sensy S.A.
Sensy S.A. (Belgium) - ENSY designed these tri-axial load cells to measure the forces that the cutting tool is applying to the workpieces during machining. It could also be used to analyse rock hardness – i.e. the scratch resistance of rock surfaces.

Another example of the application of these load cells is the use of the tri-axial transducer in the development of abrading tools for ‘scratching’ the surface of rocks or aggregates.

The full scale of this transducer is:
  • Fx: 5 kN
  • Fy: 15 kN
  • Fz: 5 kN
The accuracy equals ± 1%.
