MWS Ltd. (UK) - Additional key hires in Leicester to support growing customer base in the UK and Europe.

MWS Ltd, a UK leader in the manufacture of industrial weighing equipment, recently announced the new hire of Jim Cosgrove as UK Sales Manager.

Reporting to Andrew Clarke, Partner and Technical Director, Jim Cosgrove joins MWS with over six years of experience in the weighing industry. Prior to joining MWS, Jim worked at Mettler Toledo as Contract Sales Manager responsible for developing new business and maintaining key accounts.

Commenting on his appointment, Andrew Clarke, Partner and Technical Director, MWS, says, “We are delighted to welcome Jim Cosgrove to the MWS team. Core to our business is the strong relationships we have with existing clients, we are confident that Jim’s experience within the industry will ensure we maintain these strong ties while increasing our customer base in the UK and Europe.”

In addition to the recent hire of Jim Cosgrove, in the past year MWS has hired engineers to maintain service satisfaction levels and a dedicated programmer to support the growing requirement for traceability software across the UK and Europe.

In addition to sourcing much of our equipment from Europe, MWS has also seen an increase in demand for bespoke weighing equipment manufactured right here in our factory in Leicester, including our software installed on our popular touchscreen terminals. Through the hires of new engineers, we are able to effectively meet the demands of our clients in order to reduce costs, improve efficiencies and surpass industry standards.”

MWS Ltd are manufacturers of standard and bespoke industrial weighing equipment at their site in Leicester, United Kingdom. The maintenance and calibration is handled via a dedicated service department which covers all types of weighing products from laboratory balances to vessels at customer sites. MWS are accredited to ISO9001:2008 standards by the National Measurement Office for the design, manufacture, service and calibration of weighing equipment.
