A unique offering from Schenck Process: The MechaTron® Coni-Steel® vibration feeder
Schenck Process (Germany) - Maintenance-free dosing chute leads to low running costs.

Maintenance takes considerable time and is costly. That is why the MechaTron® Coni-Steel® vibration feeder from Schenck Process has long been supplied with a maintenance-free dosing chute, which is manufactured in-house. The specially designed geometry of the dosing chute, which was developed by Schenck Process, offers optimum conditions for high dosing quality in the delivery of bulk materials. In addition, thanks to very low energy consumption, it offers extremely economical bulk material transfer.

The dosing system is most effective when used for the gravimetric dosing of bulk materials. The MechaTron® Coni-Steel® is particularly suited to free-flowing bulk goods – whether pellets, granules, grit, glass fibres, or free-flowing powder. The system is therefore primarily used in the detergent, food, chemicals and plastics industries. The feed rate varies from approximately 0.3 to 20,000 dm3/h, depending on the properties of the material and the specific application process.

In addition to high-precision, consistent weighing, the primary benefit to our clients is the low level of maintenance required. Disassembly for cleaning and product changes is quick and simple. In the feed range of at least 1:80 no substitution of dosing components is required. Further unique properties of the vibration feeder include its pulse-free material output, its non-contact drive technology (no drive shaft, no lining, no consumable parts), the very small size of the drive components, and its stainless steel dosing and feed hoppers. Additional advantages include the unit’s low purchase price, its compact size, minimum use of cable, and simple servicing thanks to the integrated MechaTronic DISOCONT® measurement and control electronics.
