Cardinal/Detecto Announces New Executive Vice-President Mike Miller

Cardinal Scale (United States) - (Webb City, MO) Cardinal/Detecto, a leading manufacturer of scales and weighing systems, announces the hiring of Mike Miller to the role of Executive Vice-President. Mike has nearly 30 years of experience in sales and operations management from his previous position with Leggett & Platt, a fortune 500 manufacturer of a variety of products that can be found in most homes, offices, and vehicles. Mike’s previous role was President of Leggett & Platt’s Machinery and Global Systems Group. His group operated 13 manufacturing locations, with four in the US and the others located in China, Croatia, Spain, Mexico, UAE, Asia, Italy, and the UK, and 62 sales locations around the globe.

As Executive Vice-President, Mike will oversee Cardinal/Detecto’s Sales, Marketing, Customer Relations, Engineering, and the recently-acquired Belt-Way Scales, based in Rock Falls, IL. He has a degree in Management and Marketing from Missouri Southern State University. Mike will report to President Matt Stovern.

With this transition, Larry Hicks will move to Executive Vice-President of Operations and oversee Quality Administration, Human Resources, Manufacturing, Materials Management, and IT.
