Case Study: Rinstrum Partners with Black Sky Aerospace

Rinstrum Pty Ltd (Australia) - Press Release: Rinstrum recently had the opportunity to deploy our T720 High Speed Dual Channel Digital Weight Transmitter into an aerospace application, in a successful collaboration with Black Sky Aerospace.

With less than a week’s notice, our engineering team developed a customized solution to measure the thrust developed by a rocket engine during a static fire. A T720 was configured to sample at 300Hz, and was paired with a Thames Side T20 pancake cell. The BSA Team was very happy with the data captured within the 2-3 second window, and was able to gain a deep understanding of the thrust developed during the test fire.

Rinstrum's T720 is a customizable dual channel weight transmitter for our OEM clients. It is a robust, low power unit with a completely potted waterproof housing and M12 connectors for easy installation. It can be installed in the vicinity of the load cell/s to reduce cable length and is ideal for harsh environments. RS232, RS485 and CAN options are available for communication.
