Bizerba (Germany) - Bizerba, one of the leading suppliers of solutions for weighing, slicing and labelling technology, has adjusted the management structure of its Industry division. Christian Korte took on the role of Vice President Industry in October, and as such is in charge of the operational management and strategic orientation of the division. The certified engineer took over these duties from Managing Partner and CEO Andreas Wilhelm Kraut, who previously held the position alongside his other roles.

Christian Korte can look back over many years of wide-ranging industry experience: after his degree in electrical, energy and automation technology, the 47-year-old held various international management positions in the packaging industry, including at Markem GmbH and J.A. Becker. From 2000 Christian Korte worked at Optima GmbH, initially as a Sales Director and later as Executive Vice President and Managing Director. From 2009 to 2011 he was President of the Dairy business unit at Oystar Holding GmbH. Most recently, as Chief Commercial Officer at ESKO Graphics bvba, he had global responsibility for sales, marketing and service.

Bizerba’s Industry division spans the ranges of solutions for industrial weighing technology, control scales, price labelling and inspection systems, software and paper and labels.
