Loma Systems (United States) - We are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk who will be responsible for maintaining the accounts payable ledger. Ensuring intercompany and 3rd party suppliers are paid in accordance with agreed terms. In order for you to be successful in this role, you will need to be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly in Word and Excel. An ideal candidate must have a good understanding of payments, the accounting processes.

Responsibilities:

• Administration of Purchase Ledger Accounts
• Communicating with suppliers and other members of staff to pay authorised debt
• Processing and matching purchase invoices, ensuring authorised in line with company policy
• Setting up new accounts
• Preparing payment files for authorisation
• Working with other departments as required to enable payment of debt to supplier
• Dealing with personal expenses
• In addition to the duties listed above, the position holder must carry out tasks assigned by his supervisor that are essentially related to his duties.
