Laumas Elettronica S.r.l. (Italy) - Laumas Elettronica, leader in the sector of industrial weighing, launches "TL", the new generation of weight Transmitters, developed and produced entirely in Italy.

The Laumas weight transmitters, which are designed to be integrated in any type of industrial plant, can be interfaced with the most prestigious international brands of PLC, either via analogue output or the most popular fieldbuses on the market, such as Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, Profibus DP, Profinet IO, Ethernet IP, Ethernet TCP/IP, EtherCAT, DeviceNet and CANopen.

The "TLB" model can be configured with a TCP/IP Ethernet port to enable accessibility via the Internet from a PC, smartphone or tablet.

Using the web interface, the user is able to view the weight and configure the device

The series provides specific features suitable for a weight indicator:

• 6-character display, 8 millimetre characters, with LED indicators;
• 4 function keys for parameter configuration;
• relay inputs and outputs.

Laumas weight transmitters are able to support up to 8 load cells in parallel, and are fitted with an integrated RS 232/485 serial output and, optionally, alibi memory.

The IP67 box and ATEX IP67 versions are specially designed for field installation, and therefore avoid the need for a junction box.

With its compact, saving space design, the TLB family is ideal for back panel mounting. For a system configured with a number of scales, multiple transmitters can be mounted on a single Omega/DIN rail, resulting in significant savings of space.

All products are compliant with European Directives 2009/23/EC (NAWI) and 2004/22/EC (MID), and with international recommendations OIML R76 and OIML R61.

Therefore they are ideal for producing automatic and non-automatic instruments for legal purposes relating to third-parties: up to 10,000 verification scale intervals with a minimum input level sensitivity of 0.2 microvolts.

The new Laumas weight transmitter series has been created using the most advanced electronic components: the 24-bit 4800 Hz analogue-digital converter can sample at 1,000,000 intervals with an acquisition frequency of 300 Hz.
