LMS Announces New Staff Appointments to Bolster Growth Plans

LMS ( Load Monitoring Systems Ltd ) (United Kingdom) - Press Release: Intelligent lifting equipment specialist, LMS (Load Monitoring Systems Ltd) has announced two new appointments as it continues to focus on expansion in 2022.

The Aberdeen-based company designs, manufacturers and rents intelligent load monitoring products for many industry sectors around the world where continual load monitoring, measurement, calibration and testing is required.  

The company has welcomed Kenny Wright as Production Manager, while Chris Davidson steps into the newly created role of Business Development Manager.

Kenny, who takes up a key role as part of the company’s senior management team, will be responsible for all LMS production and operational aspects. With over 25 years’ lifting industry experience in the oil and gas sector, Kenny brings a wealth of knowledge which will be invaluable supporting LMS’s growth plans. 

Chris, who joined LMS in 2016 as Operations Manager, has over 15 years’ lifting industry experience in the oil & gas sector. His remit will focus on increasing sales and generating further growth both in the UK and globally.

LMS Managing Director, Kirk Anderson, said, “With these two key staff appointments, we are aligning the business with our strategic growth plans for 2022 and beyond. We are delighted to welcome Kenny to LMS and to see Chris step into the newly created Business Development role.

“With many years’ lifting industry experience & knowledge, as well as key leadership and management skills, Kenny will support the development of our Production and Operations capabilities as our business continues on an upward trajectory.”

LMS Sales Director Millar Kennedy, said: “The new Business Development position forms part of LMS’s mission to strengthen our Sales Team and focus on diversifying into other key industry sectors such as Renewables, Aquaculture, Entertainment and Subsea. The role is a vital component for our expansion strategy,” explained Millar.

“Chris has done very well since joining LMS; he has a wealth of technical experience having worked onshore and offshore in the Lifting Industry in the UK and on international projects. This experience, combined with his customer skills, will support him very well in the new role.”

Kirk added: “Both Kenny and Chris will play a vital part in the continued growth of LMS and we are delighted to have such experienced and talented professionals on board.

“Their appointments will provide essential direction and support as we focus on our goal to be the number one supplier of intelligent lifting products to global industries.”
