WIPOTEC GmbH (Germany) - Press Release: Efficient weighing, labelling and serialization.

In June, we hosted webcasts for the pharmaceutical industry on two dates. For this purpose, our experts from the areas of track & trace, checkweighers and weigh cells joined forces to give producers and machine builders a holistic insight.

In the round of talks with moderator and Head of Marketing Oliver Holzwarth, they discussed current topics from the industry and presented solutions. In total, close to 1,000 participants from all over the world registered for the sessions, bringing their questions and concerns so that we are able to give them advice.

We managed to bring in our most experienced professionals for this event:

  • Michael Kirsch / Director Global Sales Weighing Technology
  • Ingolf Latz / Director Global Sales Checkweigher
  • Volker Ditscher / Director Global Sales Track & Trace

The first webcast was titled "Future trends for the product control of liquid pharmaceuticals" and focused on vials, but also covered other primary packaging of liquids, such as bottles and cans.

In the second webcast, the subject was "Optimizing the production and packaging of solid pharmaceuticals", so we went into detail with all the packaging formats of solids: from the weight control of the individual capsule to the fully aggregated pallet.
