SCAIME S.A.S. (China) - Wen’s Food Group is one of the main producers of chickens and pigs in China. The equipment is intended for a new farm established in Xincheng.

The engineering work was entrusted to Guangzhou Behlmann Automation, SCAIME’s distributor in China. The silos were supplied by Hog Slat, a major American manufacturer of animal husbandry equipment.

Its requirement:

The customer needed weighing systems for precise level control in 14 silos with a capacity of 5 to 15t, used for animal feed.

Our solution:

For silo weighing, we offered SK30X load cells, with a capacity of 2t or 5t, constructed in stainless steel and watertight to IP68 standards, installed with STABIFLEX mounting kits. This equipment makes it possible to easily transform a silo into a set of scales without using an additional safety system.

SCAIME solution for weighing each silo:

• Four SK30X 2t load cells (silos up to 5t) or 5t (silos up to 15T)
• Four STABIFLEX stainless steel mounting kits
• One IPE50 weight indicator
