Weighing Review Awards 2026
Nominated for Best Industrial Scales
MWS Outer Case Marking System (OCM)
Built for busy production environments, the MWS Outer Case Marking System (OCM) brings weighing, labelling and order control together in one robust, hygienic workstation. Designed and manufactured in the UK by Micro Weighing Solutions, the OCM combines a Windows touchscreen terminal, industrial label printer and stainless steel weighing platform into a single portable or fixed frame, giving businesses a dedicated, reliable packing station.
The large touchscreen is clear and intuitive. Screens can be tailored to each customer’s process, with dynamic layouts, shortcuts and multi-level labelling from unit to pallet. Operators can generate reports at the terminal, manage transaction histories and print across multiple networked printers. Features such as Individual Weighed Pieces labelling and advanced date controls help maintain traceability and compliance without slowing production.
In the office, product data, customers and label formats can be managed as standard. Add the optional Sales Order package and orders can be entered centrally and sent directly to the OCM for picking and packing. The system can also import plans from third-party software, giving full flexibility to integrate with existing business systems.
Every OCM is built to last, with a high-grade stainless steel finish, lifetime structural warranty and five-year component guarantee. Flexible in design and straightforward to operate, the OCM gives manufacturers a practical way to improve accuracy, traceability and efficiency at the packing stage.

Pre-packaged goods control scale
The main purpose of the CY10.PGC scale is control of pre-packaged goods. The universal features of this measuring device, such as speed, accuracy, simplicity of use and automation of the weighing process, make it desirable in both laboratory and industrial environments. Interaction with peripherals and accessories (barcode scanner, receipt and label printer, RFID reader, mouse, keyboard, USB storage device) is made possible by the scale’s communication interfaces: USB-A (2), USB-C, HDMI, Ethernet, Wi-Fi® and Hotspot.
Designed to Make Your Work Easier
The CY10.PGC scale is equipped with a stainless weighing pan as well as a terminal with a 10-inch display and touch panel. The durable and easy-to-clean pan and the large and legible display improve the ergonomics of working on the device. The long cable connecting the terminal and the platform provides the comfort of free operation of the terminal, and the ability to work with an additional weighing platform expands the scale’s range of applications.
Purpose: Control of Pre-Packed Goods
The CY10.PGC scale is equipped with a module realizing control of packed goods; its basis is a database with a list of products and operators. The control ends automatically after inspecting (controlling) pre-defined quantity of packages (samples), which is determined by the scale program depending on product batch size. The user will read information about the currently performed control and its result on a clear graphic display. The scale enables two packaged goods controls to be performed simultaneously by one operator.
The control cycle follows the following pattern:
- Operator choice
- Product choice
- TARE selection or check
- Acquiring weighing records
- Automatic control end after certain packages number
- Saving the report or printing it.
The summary of each control is the final report, which contains all the information necessary for the pre-packed goods control report. The report is automatically stored in the scale’s memory and can be printed on a printer connected to the computer.
What Are the Additional Benefits of Choosing the CY10.PGC Scale?
The CY10.PGC scale allows you to:
- Keeping weighing records from successive weighments in the database
- Automatic printout of control processes from computer software level
- Sending user defined codes from scale to computer software; the codes match weighed product (product code, operator code, batch quantity, batch no., control Start/Stop)
- Defining product codes and their descriptions (names) from the level of computer program, therefore user can assign an individual product name suitable for the company’s branch.
