The LC-137 (LVDT) Load Cell: A precise and durable “tension-style” force transducer in force ranges from 5 to 465 pounds. The LC-137 is the ideal load cell for light-loading applications (where mechanical tare loads may represent 10 to 40 times the net material load), with performance at 200 percent of rated output. Our LC-137 load cell is guaranteed for fifteen years—a guarantee that is the longest in the industry.
Zemic BM24L10 EHEDG Stainless steel hygienic compression load cell
As a global leader for strain gauge and force measurement, Zemic saw a growing need for hygienic load cells. Especially from our customers in the food and medical industry. That is why our Zemic R&D team developed a new load cell, the BM24L10, in collaboration with EHEDG.
This load cell ensures food and pharma safety, in the whole production process, including weighing, filling and packaging.
Characteristics of an EHEDG load cell
Hygienic load cells must meet the following requirements. Our BM24L10 load cell meets these requirements.
Hygienic Design: Load cells designed to meet EHEDG standards are constructed with smooth surfaces and rounded corners, minimizing areas where contaminants could accumulate. This hygienic design ensures that the load cells can be easily cleaned and sanitized, meeting the stringent cleanliness requirements of EHEDG.
Material Selection: Load cells used in EHEDG environments are often made from materials that are resistant to corrosion and can withstand regular cleaning with harsh chemicals or high-pressure washdowns. Our load cell is made of stainless steel.
Sealed Construction: Load cells for EHEDG environments typically have a sealed and ingress-protected design. This prevents moisture, dust, or cleaning agents from entering the internal components of the load cell, ensuring accurate and reliable performance over time. The ingress protection rate of our load cell is IP68.
Reliability and Accuracy: Load cells are essential for precise weighing and force measurement applications. Even in hygienic environments, where cleanliness is a priority, the load cells must provide accurate and reliable data to ensure product quality and process efficiency.
In summary, using load cells designed for EHEDG environments is crucial to maintaining hygienic conditions, complying with industry regulations, and ensuring accurate and reliable measurement in industries where cleanliness is paramount.

ARPEGE MASTER K CPFN-A load cell, its groundbreaking innovation
From the outset, ARPEGE MASTER K - French manufacturer of weighing systems for almost 40 years - has ensured in-house expertise and know-how in the design and manufacture of its products.
As a result of this culture of technological innovation, ARPEGE MASTER K has been developing the digital offer since the 2000s and was a pioneer in the integration of CAN Bus technology into weighing instruments. ARPEGE MASTER K is now unveiling its latest innovation for industrial weighing.
To guarantee reliable and conclusive weighing in all circumstances, despite the global rise in temperature, it has become essential to extend the temperature range approved for legal-for-trade use beyond the currently accepted limit of 40°C (104 F°).
Acting on this idea, the third generation of the CPFN-A digital load cell developed by ARPEGE MASTER K is approved for use up to +55°C (131°F), while retaining its outstanding metrological characteristics in terms of reliability and accuracy (up to 6000 scale divisions, C6 class).
With IP69K protection (according to EN60529/DIN40050 standards), connected via a shielded cable with stainless steel braided sheath (15m length), the CPFN-A load cell is suitable for use in the most demanding and harsh conditions.
Its exclusive 'MasterCAN' digital technology simplifies network interconnection and ensures reliable transmission of weighing data to the weighing indicator and associated peripherals. Its connectivity makes it an essential part of ARPEGE MASTER K's patented technology for remote supervision and predictive maintenance of weighing equipment.
Available in 30 and 60 tonne versions, this digital load cell can be combined with the entire ARPEGE MASTER K range of IDe, IDl and IDTB weight indicators or transmittors, as well as the IDLC2, also approved up to +55°C (131°F).
