The SLH700 strain transducer is capable of withstanding harsh environments, making it suitable for tasks such as silo weighing or structural monitoring. Other common applications include press monitoring, welding force measurements, or force measurements in frames.

The SLH700 series of extensometers operate indirectly, measuring forces with a simple yet effective functionality. When mounted on a structure, these sensors detect deformations proportional to the applied force, allowing for accurate measurement even with significant forces once calibrated.

Constructed from stainless steel and hermetically sealed, SLH700 strain links offer robust protection (IP68) against harsh environments. Their cables resist various oils and aggressive fluids, ensuring durability. Acting as strain transformers, these transducers yield an output signal six times that of a single strain gauge.

Available with or without an integrated amplifier, SLH700 strain links offer analog output signals. With minimal force shunt and requiring only two standard M6 screws for mounting, they offer ease of installation.
