UTILCELL SWIFT-PC
UTILCELL (Spain) - The SWIFT-PC SOFTWARE is specially designed to configurate and calibrate remotely the UTILCELL SWIFT Weighing Indicator and High-speed Transmitter. In addition to the complete calibration via RS-232, it is now possible to remotely configure several indicators connected to the RS-485 bus from a single central computer, without physically moving to each SWIFT transmitter, significantly reducing the time and costs of commissioning.
Saving the configuration files and the calibrations by masses enables and simplifies the commissioning of new configuration SWIFT devices. So, the SWIFT-PC software is the best solution for all the Machine builders who can easily replicate the entire configuration of all the SWIFTs installed to reduce lead times. Also, it’s very useful for the Scale Manufacturers who can easily replace the SWIFT devices using the configuration and calibration of the replaced device.
OUTSET T1 CLOUD - Industry 4.0
The T1 CLOUD platform allows bi-directional communication in real time between the On-Board Weighing System and the ERP Server, allowing you to send and receive, at any time, Missions/Jobs and load data updates (customer, vehicle, destination, material, etc.) directly to the vehicle’s weighing system in use by the operator. Vice versa, the operator using the weighing system, via the Data SIM, the Wi-Fi connection, or via the satellite device is able to send the load data and the mission/job status directly on the T1 CLOUD platform accessible via username and password from any pc or mobile device. The interface has been designed listening to the needs of operators in the sector with simple and intuitive menus that are easy to use, highlighting the most interesting data regarding on-board weighing, tire pressure and temperature monitoring, vehicle geolocation, remote diagnosis, remote maintenance and automatic recognition of the outfitting. Reports are available in various formats divided by field (customer, vehicle, mission, weighing).
Smartlux Simple Data Logger
Smartlux Simple Data Logger (SDL) is a Windows-based data logging software designed to record measurement values, such as weight readings from electronic scales and balances. The program writes the data to a CSV file that can be opened in any spreadsheet application.
Connecting to weighing scales
Smartlux Simple Data Logger supports several common communication methods used by weighing instruments. A scale or balance can be connected to the PC via:
- RS-232 serial interfaces
- USB connections that create a virtual COM port
- Bluetooth Serial Port Profile (SPP)
- TCP/IP connections over Ethernet or Wi-Fi
After connecting the weighing instrument, the user configures the communication parameters (such as baud rate and terminator) in the software. Predefined device profiles for many scales and balances simplify this step significantly.
Operation
SDL receives the data transmitted by the connected instrument and writes it to a CSV file. Optional functions allow the software to add timestamps, line numbers, or custom text to each record. In the Plus version, SDL can also poll the device, sending a command to request a new weight value at regular intervals.
What's new in version 1.7
Released in March 2026, this version introduced several improvements and new capabilities:
- Many additional device profiles, making it easier to connect to a wider range of scales and measuring instruments.
- Improved COM port selection, displaying more details to help identify the correct port.
- GUI improvements, particularly for high-DPI displays.
