Ravas (Netherlands) - As Senior Buyer, you are responsible for, in particular, the tactical purchase of land and excipients and services for all branches. As Senior Buyer, you will professionalize the entire purchase with your colleagues and bring it to a new level. For this you evaluate whether the current processes, methods and resources are sufficient and converting the findings into improvement plans and optimisations. In addition, you are a question baak for manufacturers and you like to switch with suppliers at home and abroad. You report to the Operations Director.

Main tasks:

• Setting up a purchase vision and policy
• Setting up and shaping purchase strategies
• Realizing optimal conditions regarding pricing and delivery conditions
• Maintaining and expanding intensive contacts with suppliers
• Setting up and executing contract and supplier management
• Continuing market exploration to products, services and suppliers
• Drawing up and following purchase contracts

In addition to the above work the Senior Buyer is expected to contribute to the development and optimization of the purchasing department and to stimulate and inspire the team members. This is what you do together with the Operations Director.

Profile:

• A completed HBO training, towards technology, business administration or logistics, supplemented with Nevi 1 and ev. Nevi 2
• At least 3 to 5 years of experience gained as Buyer, Supply Chain Employee or (Senior) Buyer, preferably in an international company
• Commercial effective, hands-on and customer-oriented
• Conversation partner at level, analytical and digitally strong, chooses pragmatic solutions
• Knowledge of Dutch and English in word and writing. Good knowledge of another world language is an advantage
• Knowledge of and experience with Exactly gives you a head start
• A structured personality capable of discipline, management and organization

Furthermore, you recognize yourself as a customer and service-oriented person. You are initiativeful and have a proactive attitude. You can work accurately and you think quality is important. In addition, you are tactful and you like working in a development team.
