Thames Side Sensors Ltd (UK) - Thames Side Sensors has launched a new series of tension/compression S-type load cells.

There is growing demand for small, high accuracy, repeatable load cells with a low cost. Thames Side’s solution to this challenge is the new range of T60, T61 and T65 load cells.

The primary advantage of tension S-type cells for weighing applications is the line of force passing through the centre point of the load cell, resulting in a high accuracy and economic use of space. Another advantage is their low cost.

Suspended weighing hoppers and tanks, materials testing machines, concrete & asphalt batching plants and suspended conveyors all utilise this type of load cell.

Available from 50kg to 6000kg capacity, these compact cells offer 2mV/V or 3mV/V sensitivity, 4-wire or 6-wire (sense) connections and a high operating temperature range of -30 to +70°C. They can be used either in tension or in compression.
